Police are looking for a 17-year-old local woman they believe may have been kidnapped and possibly taken out of state.
A silver alert was issued for Luanelly "Nelly" Rodriguez around 7:30 Friday night.
─>She was last seen on Ledgewood Drive at 2:30 p.m., police said. Rodriguez went out for a walk, and a short while later sent her aunt a text asking for help, police said. She said two strangers, a white male and a female, had taken her in a vehicle, police said.
─>Other text messages from Rodriguez's phone said they were from the people who claimed to have taken Rodriguez, police said. Her family believes she may have been taken to Massachusetts, police said.
─>Police described Rodriguez as about 5-foot-3, 115 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She has a red heart tattoo under her left eye.
