Four years ago, today, while on Spring Break...with 20 friends...Reny Jose drove from Rice University in Texas to Panama Beach, Florida. He and his 20 friends rented a home on the beach where the party and fun began.
Somewhere in the midst of this fun, a living nightmare began for his family as Reny disappeared during the night.
There was not a single friend who could account for his whereabouts. Not one of the 20 friends have ever searched for him, nor stay in contact with his family. Fact is, one told police that Reny had a "bad LSD" trip. Reny didn't do drugs.
At the time he vanished, Reny was a brilliant young man from a very good family and they were very close. His entire being was very family oriented. His belongings was found in a trash barrel on the beach. Where is Reny? Did he go into the water as police suggest? Did he have some sort of cognitive disturbance that caused him to walk away from his life? No matter the thoughts, it's all out of character.
Can you imagine in the midst of this horror to be his family and receive a FedEx shipment of all his belongings from college, all packaged and wrapped carefully...without their child accompanying it? Where is Reny and how can 20 friends all be oblivious as to what happened? 20 friends. And why did they pack up and leave 4 days before the house lease was up?

Circumstance: Reny Jose, 21, an Albany, NY native, is a student with a 4.0 grade average at Rice University, Senior Engineer Student, who vanished on March 3 while on spring break with a group of friends in Panama City Beach, Fla. It was reported that he was on Spring break in a rented beach house with about 20 of his friends from school. He was last seen at around 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday March 3rd, 2014. His belongings, including his cell phone and clothing were found near the house after he was reported missing. The Bay County Sheriff's Office has ruled out foul play, but Jose's parents are suspicious. They said most of their son's friends left town within 24 hours of his disappearance, without aiding the searchers. According to the family, the group booked the place for Saturday to Saturday, and they all took off on Tuesday, even though they paid for the whole seven days.
