Charlottesville police are searching for a man they said went missing Friday and may be in danger.
Vincent Michael Leonardi was reported missing at 9 p.m. Friday from his home in the 300 block of Valley Road Extended in Charlottesville. Police said he may be suicidal. Police also said he may be traveling north, and his last known location was Charleston, West Virginia.
Leonardi is driving a white Ford F-350 pickup truck with the Virginia license plate TX239002, police said. The vehicle also has a bumper sticker on the back that reads "Leonardi Tree Service."
Police describe Leonardi as a 31-year-old white man with a light complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. He stands at 6 feet tall and weighs about 155 pounds, and has a red and green tattoo on his lower leg, police said.
Anyone with information about Leonardi's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Sgt. Jim Mooney at (434) 970-3280. If anyone sees Leonardi, police ask that they not approach him, but call 911 or local law enforcement.
