Maui County police are asking for help to find a 71-year-old woman who disappeared Friday afternoon.
Authorities said Teresa Avaline Theise suffers from Alzheimer's disease.
Investigators said an Alzheimer's counselor told them Saturday that Theise called her from the parking lot at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku about 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said officers searched the hospital and Theise's last known address but could not find her.
Theise is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone with information on Theise is asked to call 911 or the Maui County Police Department at 808-244-6400.
