The Houston County Sheriff's Office is looking for elderly man who disappeared Saturday.
Walter Sammons, 83, drove away from his son's home in Bonaire about 4:40 p.m., said Lt. David Carrick. Family members said Sammons suffers from short-term dementia and was not supposed to have been driving.
He is 5 feet, 9 inches, weighs about 220 pounds, and has gray hair. He was driving a 2006 white Ford Expedition with Georgia tag number PD 50Q0. He was wearing jeans, a plaid shirt and tan windbreaker.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at 478-542-2080.
