Vicente Mundo, age 20, was a victim of homicide due to robbery. His family suffered the ordeal of having a loved family member go missing, only to learn his body was found and the light of a beautiful young man extinguished forever. Vicente, a University of Illinois student, had many friends and was an exceptional young man who always showed compassion, care and love to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was funny, thoughtful and was very focused with his studies. He was a loving son, wonderful grandson, a great brother and the best Uncle his nieces and nephews could have asked for! He was loved and will be missed by many.
Struck by the horrific and senseless murder of their loving Vicente, the family is left with the heavy burden of paying for funeral arrangements as well as a long road ahead to attend court trials to seek justice and be the voice for Vicente. This memorial fund was created to help ease the burden of worrying about expenses.
