Earthly body located and identified; Stephanie Callahan - Horry County, SOUTH CAROLINA

A coroner confirmed that the body of a Loris woman was found, Sunday.

The family of a woman who vanished days ago says the search for their daughter is over and now they're dealing with a devastating loss.

According to Horry County coroner, Tony Hendrick, Stephanie Callahan, 24, was found dead this morning off of Morgan Road in Loris. Reporter, Conor McCue was on scene today speaking with Callahan's family.

This all started with a car crash last week; a crash, Stephanie's father says he knew nothing about until this weekend.

This afternoon, the family of Stephanie Callahan went out looking for their daughter. She had been missing since late Wednesday night.

On Saturday, the family says they learned her car had been towed from this location days before, and today found out her body was not far away.
