A trail camera photograph has Lincoln county searchers back in the woods looking for a missing Merrill man. 51-year-old Jeffrey Maruska has been missing since wandering from his home October 27th. He left behind his personal belongings including his car and wallet.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Department officials received a call about an unidentified man being photographed by a field camera. Teams went back into the wooded area east of where they previously searched hoping to find Maruska.
Sheriff's officials are encouraging the public to keep contacting them with any information that might lead them to Maruska.
Maruska is not a fugitive, and his disappearance is being treated as a missing person case. He may have medical issues and need help. Authorities are concerned because of how long he's been missing and how cold the weather has become since he disappeared.
