The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said a Silver Alert issued for a woman missing since Wednesday morning was canceled when she was found early Thursday.
Barbara Peters, 78, was last seen at a La Quinta Inn at 16231 N. 83rd Ave., in Peoria, Wednesday morning after spending the night, according to an MCSO news release.
She told hotel staff she was traveling to Santa Monica, CA, and has not spoken to her family since 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to the release.
Phoenix police officers located Peters Thursday morning, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said. There was no word on her condition.
