#MISSING: Samuel Grider, 71 - Buckeye, ARIZONA (car found abandoned in the Lower Rainbow Valley)

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office started ground and air search efforts Thursday morning in Buckeye in an attempt to find the 71-year-old member of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Crime Prevention Posse who went missing this week.
The search began at 7 a.m. in the area of Bullard Avenue and Komatke Road in the Lower Rainbow Valley, where Samuel Grider's car was found this week, according to a Sheriff's Office press release.
Grider is a 20-year member of the posse and a retired Army veteran. He's described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 195 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He recently had hip-replacement surgery.
Grider was last seen at the Calvary Chapel in the area of the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and the John Wayne Parkway on Sunday. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff's Office at 602-876-1011.
