A teen mother was reported missing after leaving her residence with her 10-month-old baby Thursday.
Deputies say 16-year-old Mercedes Moore left her residence in the Lake Carolina community on Thursday, October 2nd, with her daughter Kristen, and has not been seen or heard from since. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott stated that it is imperative Mercedes and Kristen are located.
News19 sources tell us that the two were in Department of Social Services foster care when they disappeared.
She apparently did take a stroller with her, that is black, red, and grey.
Mercedes is 5'3" with short black hair, brown eyes, and approximately 145lbs.
