A 79-year-old man went missing Friday afternoon after he dropped off his wife at a Seal Beach hair salon, Westminster police said Saturday.
Michael Constantine Fedoriga of Washington state was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Friday, dropping his spouse off and driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla, California license plate 7GJL563. He was supposed to return and pick her up at 3 p.m. with the gray Enterprise rental vehicle, but he never showed up.
Fedoriga suffers from type 2 diabetes and has a heart condition which requires medication, police said. He was recently prescribed new medication which affects his short-term memory, police said.
Fedoriga and his wife were visiting the area and staying at the Best Western hotel on Westminster Boulevard in Westminster.
Fedoriga is described by police as a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. The Westminster Police Department asks that anyone with information regarding Fedoriga's whereabouts call the Westminster watch commander at 714-548-3767.
