Police issued an alert after a 76-year-old man with dementia went missing from the Near North Side Friday.
John Brooke, a former doctor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, is missing from the 1300 block of North Sandburg Terrace, according to a statement from Chicago Police. Burke frequents a Barnes and Noble at 1150 N. State and North Avenue Beach.
Broke is a 150-pound, 6-foot-1 white man who wears glasses and has a light complexion, gray hair and brown eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing a t-shirt, tan shorts with a brown belt and blue and white gym shoes.
