Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Montgomery Village juvenile.
Charlotte Y. Chan, age 17, of the 9300 block of Weathervane Place in Montgomery Village has been reported missing by her family. Charlotte is described as an asian female, 5'8″ tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes and long, black hair.
Police and family are concerned for Charlotte Chan's emotional and physical well-being. Charlotte was last contacted on 8-24-14 when she was attending a youth summer camp in Nashville, TN. She was scheduled to return home on 9-1-14 but failed to do so. It is currently unknown if she made it back to the Maryland area.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Charlotte Chan is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hour line).
