BRENTWOOD, Mo. -- UPDATE - The family of a missing woman from Republic, Missouri says she has been found safe in a St. Louis suburb.
Cheri Crane says her mother-in-law, Peggy Crane, was found at a grocery store in Brentwood, Missouri Sunday night. She had given the clerk a slip of paper with her husband's phone number and asked them to call.
Cheri Crane says Mrs. Crane was apparently confused and disoriented and was unable to find her way back home on I-44. Credit card purchases helped track Peggy Crane to St. Robert and
then Redwood, Illinois before she went to the store in Brentwood.
