BLUE RIVER, Ore. -- After spending two day in the Lane County wilderness, a missing Portland woman was found hungry and mildly hypothermic by private contractors working off Cougar Reservoir Road, the Lane County Sheriff's Office said.
Megan Ryan, 28, of Portland, was reported missing at around 9 p.m. Saturday after she was separated from a group near Cougar Dam.
Search and rescue crews started canvassing the area
south of Highway 126E in the Willamette National Forest
, but didn't manage to find Ryan.
Sheriff's officials said she was found Tuesday morning by some contractors working off Road 19, commonly referred to as Cougar Reservoir Road.
Ryan was mildly hypothermic and hungry, so the contractors gave her food and some extra clothing until deputies could take her to Eugene.
Once back in the city, Ryan was reunited with family members.
