Earthly Body Located: Kimberly Dejohn - Michigan

The Warren Police Department has confirmed that the body of Kimberly Dejohn was found Wednesday on a piece of property off of M-68 in Koehler Township where it was buried behind the garage of an abandoned foreclosed home.
A press release form the Warren Police Department stated that after receiving a tip, a search warrant was executed and the assistance of a Michigan State Police, MSP, K-9 was requested. Cadaver dog, Lightning, alerted police to the odor of decomposing human remains on the property.
Police report MSP lab personnel from Grayling responded to process the scene and uncovered the body of Dejohn.
According to earlier reports on the missing person's case, Dejohn, of Warren, was last seen on May 14 by her husband after they had a fight. She was reported missing by her sister two weeks later.
Earlier this month, police searched several properties in Presque Isle County, including Wilson Lake in Millersburg. Members of Dejohn's family own property in Millersburg. This search was called off when efforts came up empty.
The Macomb Daily Tribune reported earlier that Dejohn's husband Lloyd was arrested on May 30 and charged with aggravated domestic violence.
There had been evidence recovered at their home which pointed to a possible altercation the day Kimberly Dejohn left home.
Warren police Sgt. Stephen Mills said DeJohn is a person of interest in his wife's disappearance.
The Macomb County Prosecutors office has been given a full report on the progress of the investigation by the Warren Police Department.
In addition to the Michigan State Police, the Warren Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Tuscarora Township Police Department.
