The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Halesite man who has Alzheimer's disease.
Laszlo "Leslie" Tar, 92, was last seen leaving his home at 3 Cliftwood Drive, Halesite on August 8, 2014 at 2:48 p.m. He is described as a white male with gray hair, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a royal blue polo shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about his location to call 911 or contact the Second Squad at 631-854-8243.
