Authorities are asking for help in finding a man who has been missing for nearly four years.
Mark Travis Burkett Jr. was reported missing Oct. 20, 2010, to Randall County Sheriff's Office, Amarillo Police Department Lt. Erick Bohannon said.
During the investigation, police learned Burkett might have been in Amarillo at the time of his disappearance. Special Crimes Unit detectives then opened a missing person case on Burkett, Bohannon said.
Police have followed up on many tips, but Burkett has not been found, Bohannon said.
Burkett's nickname is "Bubba," and today is his 24th birthday.
Burkett is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, according to Globe-News files from 2011.
The missing man has brown hair and brown eyes.
