Police in Takoma Park are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.
Kadiatou Sylla, 17, was last seen on Aug. 20, in the 700 block of Hudson Avenue, police said.
Sylla is described by police as a black female, standing 5 feet 5 inches and weighing 169 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and owns a black purse. Sylla has her nose pierced and has a tattoo of a "moon and star" on her right shoulder.
Anyone who has information about Sylla's whereabouts is asked to contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #14040194.
