Police are looking for a man who was reported missing to officers Tuesday.
Jose Gomez, 38, was last seen early Monday morning, according to police. Officers said he is missing from the southside area of town.
Cara Perez said her cousin Latisha Perez last saw Gomez, her boyfriend, on Sunday when he was helping her move. The couple spoke Sunday evening and planned to meet again Monday after work, but he never showed up.
Gomez, a Hispanic man, is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has a shaved head and red-tinted goatee. His natural hair color is black.
His vehicle is not missing, and police believe he is either on foot or with others.
Anyone with information on Gomez's whereabouts can call the Elko Police Department at 777-7310.
