GRESHAM, Ore. -- A deaf man with severe short-term memory loss walked away from a Gresham-area care facility Thursday. He was found safe at a gas station in Veneta, Ore. on Sunday, Lane County Sheriff's deputies said.
51-year-old Scott Allen was reported missing after Gresham Police said he walked away from an assisted living facility sometime between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. on Thursday.
