The following press release was delivered to Maui TV News by Jeff Simon of Maui Search and Rescue today.MauiSearchandRescue It follows the tragic news of the discovery of the body of Sean Okin – reported missing Monday this week. His body was discovered near Kaupo Thursday afternoon:
STATEMENT FROM Sean Okin's Brother Ben Okin
Update from Ben 8/29/2014: I was informed this morning that Sean was found deceased this morning on a remote beach on Maui. Thank you all for the love and support you gave my brother in his life and in trying to locate him. He was found by a Park Ranger thanks to the efforts of getting the word out through flyers and law enforcement. We will let people know if and when there are any public services. Please allow some time for family to grieve. Please allow yourselves time to grieve and remember him for the great light he was while he was with us on Earth.
