A deaf-mute man who suffers seizures walked out of an adult care facility in Gresham days ago, and authorities need the public's help to find him.

Allen is 5-feet-10 and about 175 pounds, balding but with brown hair and a brown-and-gray beard. He wears glasses and probably is wearing either a green or blue baseball cap. He suffered a previous brain injury, has no short-term memory and takes medication for his seizures. He does not have his medication with him.Chestnut Lane is in the 1200 block of NE 6th Street, and Allen is said to be unfamiliar with the area.
Staff at Chestnut Lane, a facility that takes care of deaf and deaf-mute individuals, said Allen uses sign language but probably does not know how to read lips.
