Police are asking for the public's help locating a missing elderly man.
Eighty-five-year-old Thomas Cannon was last seen around 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cadbury Retirement Home on the 2100 block of Route 38 in Cherry Hill, N.J., according to police.
They say Cannon left the retirement home in a black 2008 Volkswagen Passat, which has a New Jersey plate reading WDX86F, to go to a doctor's appointment in Fort Dix.
Cannon is 6-foot 2-inches tall, weighs about 220 pounds, and has short, gray hair and brown eyes, according to police.
Authorities issued a silver alert in the state of New Jersey.
Anyone with information on Cannon's whereabouts is urged to contact the Cherry Hill Police Department at 856-665-1200.
