Multiple law enforcement and emergency management agencies are currently searching for a missing father and son.
According to Captain John M. Foster, Jr., with Yell County Sheriff's Department, 33-year-Brian Allen Floyd and 10-month-old Harper Alexander Floyd were last seen in the Ouachita Mountains area south of Blue Mountain Lake. They has reportedly broken down on an unknown mountain road in a GMC King Cab Pickup that may have been a 1997 model. Foster said the pickup was dark green in color and had an Arkansas license plate reading 288 TRP.
Foster said that while crews do appreciate recent offers to help, the agencies are asking that the general public stay away from those areas so that investigators can focus their efforts on the search.
In the meantime, the public can report possible sightings to any local law enforcement agency or the Yell County Sheriff's Department at (479) 495-4881.
