Located Safe: Blas Cruz Rodriguez, 80 - California

An 80-year-old Hemet man has been found safe in the Colorado-river city of Blythe, roughly 160 miles from his home, say Riverside County sheriff's officials.
Blas Cruz Rodriguez went missing about 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, while driving a 2013 Kia Soul from his home along the 1400 block of Vista Grande to San Bernardino, investigators said in a written statement issued the following day.
At that time, investigators suspected he might be near the Salton Sea, though they didn't elaborate.
On Tuesday, they announced that the search was over.
"During the late afternoon on Monday, …. Rodriguez was located in the Blythe area," they said. "Mr. Rodriguez was in good health and has been reunited with family members."
