Police have canceled a Silver Alert for 81-year-old Benjamin Wedderman, who had been missing from Plainfield since Sunday afternoon.
Plainfield police said Wedderman disappeared around 1 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. on Sunday and has dementia, but has always appeared to be lucid. A Silver Alert for Wedderman was issued around 4:40 p.m. Sunday. It was canceled as of 1:30 a.m. on Monday.
