Police investigating the disappearance of a Portland woman found her remains on a property in Northeast Portland Tuesday and her landlord is now wanted in her murder.
Renee Sandidge-Crowell was last seen at her home on Northeast 66th Avenue Saturday around 6 a.m., according to Portland police. She rented the basement of the home from Gary Alan Lewis, who also lived there.
Sandidge-Crowell's remains were found on a property located at 3934 Northeast 66th Avenue, according to Sgt Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
"The body will be transported to the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office for a positive identification and an autopsy," Simpson said.
He added that police were asking the public to share any tips which could help investigators find Lewis.
