SILVER ALERT: Alfonso Smith, 41 - Fayetteville, NORTH CAROLINA


A Silver Alert has been issued for a Fayetteville man, according to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons.
Alfonso Smith, 41, was reported missing by his guardian on Tuesday, a news release said.
He was last seen walking on the 6200 block of Yadkin Road after leaving a business in that area, the release said.
Smith is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a royal blue sleeveless basketball shirt and tan loafers.
Smith has "Soul to Soul" tattooed on his upper left arm.
Smith, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, has a condition that requires medication.
Anyone with information should call 911 or Fayetteville police at 433-1856.
