The search continues for a missing West Milwaukee man.
John Moebs, 33, was last seen leaving Brothers Pub, 1213 Water St. in downtown Milwaukee on Friday night.
The woman said she received a text from Moebs at 3:30 a.m. Saturday saying he was almost home but had a broken nose.
Moebs never arrived, and family and friends have been handing out fliers asking for help in their search.
West Milwaukee police told WISN 12 News they were notified on Sunday, but by then, Moebs' cellphone was not working.
"Our main concern is that, because he was injured and because he was drinking, he may have become disoriented and gone in the wrong direction or may have passed out somewhere on the way home," said Scott Moebs, John's brother. "We all love him. We all care about him. We just want him home safe."
West Milwaukee police took shoes and gloves from the apartment so Moebs' scent can be given to search dogs.
Anyone with information on Moebs' whereabouts is asked to call West Milwaukee Police at 414-645-2151.
