Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a 63-year-old woman who went missing from an assisted living home in Sylmar.
Ellen Weston, who requires ongoing medical treatment, left her residence around 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 14000 block of Hubbard Street. She was last seen in her room at dinner time when she was given her food and medication.
Weston was described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black beanie, orange turtleneck sweater and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to contact LAPD Mission Division detectives at (818) 838-9820.
