#MISSING: Alan Porter, 58 - Curtis Park, CALIFORNIA (riding a blue 2004 Yamaha SZX racing motorcycle)

Family is looking for a Curtis Park man who left his home Tuesday afternoon on a motorcycle ride and hasn't returned or contacted anyone.
The Sacramento Police Department said the missing man is 58-year-old Alan Porter. He rode a blue 2004 Yamaha motorcycle.
Porter was described as white, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He wore a white, full-face motorcycle helmet as he rode away from Castro Avenue.
Family friend Susan Simmons further described Porter's bike as a Yamaha SZX racing bike that he was taking for a short day ride at 2 p.m. Tuesday. She said he liked to ride on two-lane scenic highways and he wouldn't have gone on Interstate 80.
On Saturday morning, Porter's family and a privately hired search team met at Village Green Park in Rancho Cordova to search for the 58 year old. The public was invited to help in the search. As of this report, there was no word on Porter's whereabouts.
Sacramento police asked anyone with information about Porter to contact their dispatch center at (916) 264-5471.
