Located Safe: Le-Rail Johnson, 2 years - Florida (found in Minnesota)

A missing Riviera Beach toddler whose disappearance triggered an Amber Alert Friday has been located safe and sound.

The suspect in the Amber Alert issued May 9, 2014, Cassandra Edmonds, has been taken into custody by the Woodbury, MN police agency.

The Amber Alert was issued as part of efforts to locate two year-old LaRail Johnson who had been missing for two days.

Johnson was recovered in Duluth, MN in good health and does not appear to have been harmed.

Edmonds was taken into custody uneventfully as she returned to the vehicle described in the Amber Alert.

She is under arrest for two counts of Felony Child Abuse described in a warrant that was walked through by Riviera Beach Police last night.

The child abuse is related to two children who were removed from Edmonds' custody earlier this week by DCF officials in Palm Beach County.

Riviera Beach Police received assistance from the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Federal Department of Investigation, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Palm Beach County State Attorney's office.
