Andrew Pena has been found alive.
The 26-year-old Plainview man made contact with his family Saturday morning. Pena had been missing for more than a month, which prompted an in-depth investigation and two community search parties.
Andrew's father Angel Pena confirmed that they have found his son, who has been missing since April 6.
Angel Pena chose not to disclose where his son was found, but stated that he was working to get his family's life back to normal, which would require some time away from the subject.
Detective Armando Chavez of the Plainview Police Department said they received a late-night tip Friday. Authorities worked through the night and found Pena at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
At that time, he was told to contact his family.
