GOLDEN ALERT: Melissa Emrick, 23 - Jeffersontown, KENTUCKY (Missing from Kentucky Group Home - Diabetic dependent on insulin - may need medication)


Authorities in Jefferson County and Louisville Metro area are asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman.

Police say 23-year-old Melissa Emrick was last seen in the 3700 block of Willow Avenue in Jeffersontown around 1 a.m. Sunday from the Community Alternatives of Kentucky Group Home.

Officials say she has a history of insulin dependent diabetes and its unknown if she's taken any of her medication.

Emrick is described as a white female, 5-feet-7-inches tall and 250 pounds. Police say they have no clothing descrption but she was wearing lime green shoes.
