A Brooklyn fashion designer missing since late-March has been found dead, officials said on Friday.
A body found floating in New York Harbor near Pier 4 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, on Thursday was identified as that of James (Jay) Ott, 31, law enforcement sources said.
An autopsy was slated to be performed to find out how Ott died.
Ott, who suffered from anxiety, was last seen at his McKibbin St. home in Bushwick on March 24, police said.
Worried friends had plastered posters in subway stations throughout the city, hoping someone would help locate him.
