Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a woman with a developmental disability who went missing last week near San Leandro.
Yolanda Carroll, 52, was last seen around 3 p.m. Thursday near East 14th Street and Ashland Avenue, said Sgt. J.D. Nelson, an Alameda County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Carroll has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old and is known to frequent the Bayfair and San Leandro BART stations, Nelson said.
She was described as an African American woman who is 5-foot-5 and weighs 165 pounds. She has brown eyes, salt-and-pepper hair and a birthmark on the left side of her face.
