Located Safe: Jeanie Leinghot, 22 - North Carolina

An endangered Huntersville woman who went missing over the weekend was located safe and sound, according to the police department.
Crews searched throughout the night to find 22-year-old Jeanie Lienghot.

Huntersville Police confirmed to NBC Charlotte Sunday morning that Lienghot has been found safe. Authorities say she was found at a home in Charlotte without injury.

Firefighters and law enforcement briefly ended the search around 3:30 a.m. Saturday because of the rain. They resumed at 8 a.m.

Lienghot's family says she has a brain injury, causing her to hallucinate. She needs medication and possibly medical attention.
