The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Thomas Jeffrey Searle.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Searle, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
He's described as a 5′ 8″ white man, age 60, with short brown hair and gray eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans on Bushy Cook Road in Efland. Authorities say he could be trying to get to Pennsylvania.
Anyone with information about Thomas Jeffrey Searle should call Orange County Sheriff's Office at 919-644-3050.
