Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help locating a missing New Haven resident who hasn't been seen by loved ones since February.
New Haven police say 71-year-old Gonzalee Henderson was last seen Feb. 28, but not reported missing until March 14. A Silver Alert was issued this week and transmitted via the Connecticut State Police.
Connecticut's silver alert system is commonly used to spread the word about runaways and endangered runaways, as well as missing persons with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
Police didn't have a description of the clothes Henderson was wearing at the time of his disappearance, but he is physically described as a dark-skinned male standing 5-feet, 6-inches tall weighing approximately 140 pounds. Henderson has gray hair, brown eyes, and may be wearing glasses.
Anyone with information about Henderson's disappearance or whereabouts is asked to call the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6316.
