McDowell County sheriff's deputies are searching for a man last seen by his father Tuesday night.
Carl Adam Orander, 25, left his residence at 44 Melody Haven Drive in Old Fort at 8 p.m. and hasn't been seen since.
His father reported him missing Wednesday at 5 p.m.
He is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Orander could possibly be headed for Virginia.
Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County 911 Communications Center at 652-4000 or the McDowell County Sheriff's Office at 652-2235.
