Rex Turner, the Houston-based businessman reported missing in New Orleans since Feb. 27, has contacted his ex-wife and at least one other family member, an NOPD spokesman confirmed Thursday.
Officer Garry Flot said an NOPD detective was told Monday that Turner had spoken to family members by telephone, and that they were trying to convince him to return home.
