Located Safe: Theresa Mayo, 59 - Alaska (found in gravel pit cold and dehydrated but ok)

Alaska State Troopers report Theresa Mayo, missing from the Palmer area since Friday, was found by troopers and search-and-rescue volunteers Saturday evening. She was located in a gravel pit near her home about 10 p.m., troopers said.

In a report posted online, troopers said she was found "in a gravel pit area to the South of her residence.  Theresa was cold and dehydrated from being outside for approximately 36 hours.  She was transported by local EMS to the MatSu Regional Hospital for treatment.  The Alaska State Troopers would like to thank all the volunteer searchers who participated in this operation."
