#MISSING: James Ryan, 54 - Butte, MONTANA (car found abandoned at Delmoe Lake area - avid long-distance runner)

Jefferson County search crews are on scene near Delmoe Lake looking for man reported missing Wednesday night.
Butte-Silver Bow Undersherrif George Skuletich tells NBC Montana James Ryan, 54, was reported missing by his wife just before 11:00 p.m.
Ryan works in Helena, but Butte police say he never arrived at work Wednesday morning.
Authorities used On-Star to track Ryan's car to the Delmoe Lake area, off Homestake Pass.  Ryan's car was found locked near the trailhead. Police say snowfall overnight hid any footprints or tracks in the area.
Jefferson County search crews began canvassing the area Thursday morning.
We are told Ryan is an avid long-distance runner and would usually go on runs in the morning before work. They also have no reason to believe he was with anyone else at the time.
If you have any information about his disappearance you are asked to contact the Butte Sheriff's Office at 497-1120.
