UPDATE -- Chicago police said Monday morning that a North Side man who had been missing since Friday was found safe and has been reunited with his family. No other details were available.
Police are searching for a 72-year-old man from the Lakeview East neighborhood last seen Friday leaving home to run an errand, according to a missing person alert from the Chicago Police Department.
Jesus Esparza, of the 700 block of West Waveland Avenue, is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with black and gray hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.
