Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating a missing at-risk teenager.
Tyree Williams, 15, of Robbins was last seen by his mother leaving for school Wednesday morning, authorities said this afternoon. Investigators believe Tyree was later seen entering a Family Dollar Store on the 13900 block of South Clair Boulevard in Robbins Thursday evening.
Asheena Martin said her son, a sophomore at Dwight D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, has developmental, cognitive and speech problems, and he was hospitalized briefly last month for behavioral issues. He is also being treated for depression, Martin said.
Tyree is 5-foot-8 and weighs approximately 170 pounds, the Cook County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
Anyone who knows Tyree's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Police Investigations Unit at 708-865-4896.
