Lawrence police have identified a man who was found dead in his home, and they continue searching for a woman from the same home who has been missing for several days.
Police found the body of Harold M. Sasko, 52, late Friday when they went to the home on West 26th Street.
Police went to the home to look for 19-year-old Sarah Brooke Gonzales McLinn after family members asked for help because they had not been able to contact her.
McLinn was not there and was still missing Sunday, police said. A vehicle that belonged to Sasko also is missing. It is a dark gray or blue 2008 Nissan Altima with Kansas "In God We Trust" license number AK149.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lawrence police at 785-832-7509 or Douglas County CrimeStoppers at 785-843-8477.
