Earthly Body Located: Gregory Thomas Randolph Donaghe, 31 - Texas

The Midland Police Department has identified the body found near the Petroleum Museum as an oilfield worker who was reported missing in December.

The man, identified as Gregory Thomas Randolph Donaghe, 31, was reported missing since Dec. 29, a news release from Midland Public Information Officer Sara Higgins said. Donaghe's body was reportedly found in a field west of the museum around 11:41 a.m. on Thursday.

Donaghe's body has been sent to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Officer for an autopsy, the news release stated.
Currently, the police department is investigating the case as a homicide; however, Higgins said it was standard for the department to do that until their investigation finds evidence that says otherwise. Higgins said Friday afternoon that the investigation was still ongoing and "nothing had been ruled out."
"We investigate all dead bodies as homicides until we find something that tells us it's not," Higgins said.
