With sadness, the earthly bodies of David Wood and Mason Cox were recovered. Our hearts and prayers for their families.
The bodies of Mason Cox and David Wood, missing since Jan. 2, were found in the area of Fredericks Cove, according to Major Tony Wooten with the sheriff's office. Investigators have not determined what happened to the men, but there were no initial signs of trauma, Wooten said by phone Friday night. Autopsies will be conducted on both men, he said.
